Midway History

Midway, Utah is located in the picturesque Heber Valley, which is the gateway to some of the State’s greatest attractions and outdoor recreation. The area offers the charm and down home hospitality of the quintessential small western town, yet is close to the excitement and night life of Park City, Utah.

It is home to one of the world’s premiere cross-country skiing and biathlon venues, Soldier Hollow, which was showcased during the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. The area also features snowmobiling, horseback riding, hiking, hot air ballooning, boating, water sports, scuba diving and fly fishing.

During summer months, the Heber Valley is a favorite golf destination offering 90 holes at five championship courses including The Homestead, Wasatch Mountain State Park and Soldier Hollow. Visitors marvel at the fresh mountain air and temperatures that are usually 10 to 15 degrees cooler in the summer than Salt Lake City.
