Deer Valley Resort is a 20-minute drive from The Blue Boar Inn & Restaurant and offers 1,750 acres of terrain with more than 300 inches of snow annually. Deer Valley, which hosted the slalom, aerials and mogul events during the 2002 Winter Olympics, limits lift ticket sales to 6,500 per day. The resort is one of two in Utah that only allows skiers. Park City Mountain Resort – 20 Minutes
Park City Mountain Resort (PCMR) is 20-minutes from The Blue Boar Inn & Restaurant and offers 3,300 acres of varied terrain. PCMR has the most skiers and snowboarders of any Utah ski resort and has been ranked as a Top Ten Ski Resort by SKI magazine for the past 17 years. The Canyons – 20 Minutes
The Canyons Resort is approximately 20-minutes from The Blue Boar Inn & Restaurant and boasts Utah’s largest single ski and snowboard resort and one of the five largest in the Country. Sundance – 25 Minutes
Robert Redford’s famed Sundance Ski Resort is a 25-minute drive from The Blue Boar Inn & Restaurant and offers 450 acres of pristine Utah ski terrain with a vertical drop of 2,150 feet. Solitude – 45 Minutes
Solitude Mountain Resort is located in Big Cottonwood Canyon, approximately 45-minutes from The Blue Boar Inn & Restaurant, and offers 1,200 acres of terrain. Brighton – 45 Minutes
Brighton Ski Resort is located in Big Cottonwood Canyon, approximately 45-minutes from The Blue Boar Inn & Restaurant, and offers 1,050 skiable acres with a vertical drop of 1,745 feet. Snowbird – 50 Minutes
Snowbird Ski Resort is located in Little Cottonwood Canyon, approximately 50-miuntes from The Blue Boar Inn & Restaurant, and offers more than 2,500 acres of skiable terrain. Snowbird features a vertical drop of 3,240 vertical feet and receives more than 500 inches of snow each year. The Resort offers one of the longest ski seasons in the country. Snowbird’s last ski day during the 2004-2005 season was July 4. Snowbird and Alta have been named the No. 1 ski resorts in the United States by SKIING magazine the past three years. Alta Ski Area is located in Little Cottonwood Canyon, approximately 50-minutes from The Blue Boar Inn & Restaurant, and offers 2,200 skiable acres with a vertical drop of 2,020 feet.
